What is a TCG?

Online Trading Card Games are similar to the trading cards you knew as a child. Rather than playing in person and collecting cards from packs at the store, you collect everything online. The goal is to collect all of the cards you like, also know as mastering a deck. Online TCGs are free to play, a lot of fun, and very addictive! Interested in joining? Check out the rest of this section before moving on to the join form!

Trade Post

Before you join, you need a place to store your stuff, also know as a trade post. To make life easier for you and for your fellow TCG members, you should separate your cards--at least into groups of keeping and trading. You are also required to keep a detailed card log, showing how you got every card. The final thing you need on your site is a way to contact you, either a form or an email link, so you can trade.

Masteries / Level Up

Once you have collecting all of the cards in a deck, you have mastered the deck. This means you cannot trade away any of these cards (except for doubles, of course) but you will receive some rewards for doing so. For every regular card deck you master, you receive 2 regular cards of choice, 3 random regular cards and 20 . For every special card deck you master, you receive 3 regular cards of choice, 5 random regular cards and 50 . When you join Aidoru, you begin at level one and work your way up through the levels. The requirements for each level are posted here. The rewards for leveling up are 1 regular cards of choice and 4 random regular cards.

Type of cards

There are three different types of cards at Aidoru. Regular decks contain 20 cards worth 1, and are divided into characters, puzzles and scenes. Special decks contain only 10 cards, but are worth 2. The third type of card is a member card, which are unique to every member. These cards can be traded, but are worth zero.
Regular Card (Worth 1) Special Card (Worth 2) Member Card (Worth 0)
Cards also have attributes: Cool, Pure or Smile. Character and Scene decks will only have one attribute, but puzzle decks can consist of two attributes. While these have no impact on the cards themselves, they may become important in certain activities.

Idolizing Decks

At Aidoru, decks can be mastered multiple times. By mastering a deck for a second time, you have idolized the deck. You will receive a custom master badge, and an additional Green Ticket. Idolozing will only work in multiples of two. For example: if you master honokakousaka two times, you have idolized her once. If you master honokakousaka three times, you have still only idolized her once. If you master her for a forth time, you will have idolized her for a second time.

If you are lucky enough to idolize a special deck, you will receive the regular idolization rewards as well as 5 Blue Tickets.

Currency and Scouting Tickets

There are two types of currency: gold and love gems ( ). Use gold to purchase cards and coupons. Love gems can be used to buy purely cosmetic items.

Scouting Tickets come in two colors: blue and green ( ). These are used like coupons in other TCGs. The value is different not only per type of ticket, but the ammount as well.
Scouting Ticket(s) Reward

x5 One choice regular card
x1 One random special card
Scouting Tickets can ocasionally be found in the school store, and can be bought with gold.

School Store

The school store is where you can purchase cards and other items using your gold or love gems. While gold purchases are always available, love gem items and scouting boxes will rotate monthly, so check back often! Here are a few examples of things you can buy in the shop.

Scouting Boxes

A unique feature at Aidoru is the ability to scout for cards from the School Idol Festival mobile game. By using love gems, you can choose to draw either one card (called bromides) or perform a 10+1 scout. Every so often, there will be boxes with a higher chance of obtaining an SSR/UR, or a specific girl. This is completely optional! Any bromide you obtain will be featured on your profile.

Member Decks

You will have the opportunity to create and master your very own member deck. All members start out with their 01 card*, and by hitting certain milestones, you will be able to unlock your other cards. These cards are worth 0, but may be traded for other member deck cards. ALthough these cards are worth 0, once mastered you will receive a reward just like any other mastery.
*Prejoiners receive a special prejoin card as well as an 01 card; however these prejoin cards are NOT tradeable

Titles

By completeing certain tasks, you will be able to earn different acheivements, called Titles. It is important to remember that tasks used for one Title cannot be used for another (ie: decks turned in for the Nozomi Fan Title cannot be used for lily white or Otonokizaka Third Years Titles).
